Mick is now old, well, not really old, not like, as old as me, but he's past the mythical 35 year boundary, that we used to think about like they used to talk about the sound barrier, as an impenetrable wall, with kids on one side and old people on the other side. ok. to be honest, 35 was only the 'magical barrier' when you're already past 30, and you have convinced yourself that 30 is still young, but that 35 is old.
Well now Mick is over here with me and we're looking at 40 like it's some kind of 'magical barrier' (you know, like the sound barrier)
I'm sure Mum is looking around thinking about 65 as this 'magical barrier' :)

nah, don't worry. I just heard recently that 40's the new 30 :)
well I just watched The 40 Year Old Virgin tonight and they said that 40 was the new 20, so let's go with that. :)
